The First Ascension - 1752
Life, Death, and Destruction
Across the ancient continent of Misithia, before the Titans fell, before the world flooded, before eight of the nine fell, there was war. At a time in which the world was falling into chaos as powers were rising, two conflicting civilizations warred with each other. Dolgoch of Luskoth led her people against La’iya and Ithiisia, in her destructive wrath raining down upon the Misithians, she ascended into godhood, the domain of destruction.
The Luskoth forces were bolstered by devils and the divine emissaries of destruction, a power which had never been seen in the world. Misithians were dying by the tens of thousands with no ability to slow the advance of destruction.
La’iya and Ithiisia were terribly powerful mages, partners in magic, life, love, and death. As The Misithians continued to lose territory and life, La’iya made a terrible decision. In a desperate attempt to stop the advance of destruction, she unleashed a spell imbued with divine power that would be the cause of her ascension into the domain of death, while Ithiisia attempted to preserve life, ascending with her wife into godhood, but into the domain of life.
Devils, Luskoths, and Misithians died in a single act that would leave a continent spanning, unsealable wound, still smoking thousands of years later.
Dolgoch would have happily destroyed the world, when she ascended, her first child of divinity, Kemfek the patient orchestrated the violence, and when his forces were defeated by La-iya, he made a vow to one day to exact vengeance on Misithia on his way to destroying all in the cosmos.
