Hope - Garagoth
Garagoth(GAIR-ah-gawth) is a celestial deity who seeks to inspire his followers. His followers are leaders, bards, storytellers, caregivers, and anybody who seeks to brighten another’s day.
Garagoth was among the first gods to ascend, though his worship has not shaped the course of civilizations like other gods, it has certainly made many places brighter.
A celestine of hope will have shimmering yellow/gold skin and eyes.
Garagoth teaches his followers to understand and uplift those around them. They learn to imbue hope with stories, dreams, and deception if necessary. Hope serves as veil between good and evil. The worship would keep the innocent optimistic in the face of doom.
Followers of Garagoth are deceitful, usually in service of good, usually. They are joyous and bright, but there are times where joys are fleeting, hollow, and unfulfilling. Hope is something that becomes chased and unattainable.
His symbol is the burning dawn, a depiction of the rising sun representing the passion for life.
Garagoth can be felt in the dawn, sunshowers, and sunrays breaking through clouds.
Followers of Garagoth will find themselves in Tenigel when their soul passes from the material plane. Tenigel is a place of ever morning, with misty fields and peaceful villas. It is the fulfillment of a hopeful life.
Garagoth ascended in 1752. During the reign of slaughter, when order and justice were occupied with vengeance. The land of Worethos was soaked in the blood of its people, and they were resigned to its fate.
Wyllynaer and Garagoth were leaders of necessity, neither were warriors. While Wynnynaer was engaging in philosophy, attempting to find peace, Garagoth was lying. He lied of a saviour coming, a great warrior who had survived the reign of slaughter and the rain of blood. What Garagoth found was hope, he began to believe and found power in the belief. One day, he made that belief true and ascended to godhood, and sending a warrior of hope to protect his people, and fulfill their hopes.
The Light In The Dark/Guiding Light/Lighthouse - Varidin
Varidin is a celestial deity belonging to Garagoth known for vigilance and caution. His followers can be seen as dull and reserved compared to other followers in the pantheon of hope.
A celestine of Varidin will have dark grey eyes.
Varidin teaches his followers to be weary. They accept the dark and become the light. Where followers of hope will do whatever they need to give hope, followers of Varidin see things more practically. They do not lie, rather they raise hope with only what they believe is truly possible. They are taught to be insightful and tactful above all else.
His symbol is the veiled lighthouse, a mysterious lighthouse depicted covered by fog. This is to represent the uncertainty of a direct path, and the resolve to move forward.
The Stars/The Navigating Stars - Saeri
Saeri(say-REE) is a celestial deity belonging to Varidin whose domain is the very stars.
A celesetine of Saeri will have eyes that show the stars they were born under.
Saeri teaches their followers to guide and connect people. Their followers tell stories and share wisdom. They teach others by telling stories of the past seen in the stars. Memories are very important to Saeri, and followers may see visions through altered memories.
Before Saeri the night sky was an empty void of black, in their ascension they felt all the lands and their memories and made constellations and stars for each one so that mortals could be reminded of what used to be.
Saeri’s holy symbol is the lonely star, a single point of light on a dark plane representing the power to guide and the enduring memory of the land.
